Just when I wanted to photograph the black convertible ‘Snoek’ (a Dutch nickname for the old Citroen DS, meaning pike), this very large, bold and slender man -into his long black leather coat- came along.
He happened to be standing next to the car for a while, engrossed in his mobile phone. That gave me, here in the city of Utrecht, time enough to capture the scene. The car and the man do not belong together, but each rounded out tremendously.
